Summer Heights
This week of the anthroposophical calendar we feel the heights of our senses basking in nature's splendor. Its radiant beauty moves us to summon the will to join in its glory and perfection. The truths of the fiery cosmic realms resound within us as glimmering silver forces stream up from the crystallized minerals of the earth, resounding in our bones like musical instruments.
During this time of St. John's Tide and Summer Solstice, it is our responsibility to kindle the fire within our own hearts to radiate the natural splendor of Spirit realms out into the world. We forego the lower aspects of ourselves in favor of the Higher Self that is in harmony with nature. When we act in accordance with higher, moral law rather than that of misguided human desires, we seek with a sense of inner knowledge of joining our expansive, spiritual family.
Practice the Calendar verses to entrain with the rhythms of the seasons. Together, we will radiate these forces out into society through our moral words and deeds of brotherly love.
