Ripening Fruits
After the peak of the summer solstice, the sun's warmth transforms blossoming gardens into fields of ripening produce. Just as they are ripened by the power of the Sun, so too the human soul quickens in the shrine of the heart. We must take the forces of the spiritual world into our bodies to transform ourselves. In this way, we strengthen ourselves to more fully develop spiritually in the fall and winter.
Rudolf Steiner offered a number of special prayers which are collected in Volume 40 of his collected works. We offer the First English Edition of this book, published in 1943. The prayers in this volume offer insight into the greater cosmic relationships in which individuals are immersed before birth, during life, and after death.
