Last week we set our intention on no less than a "resurrection of the soul." We aimed to carry cosmic warmth and light into this darkened world through our heart-felt thinking and actions. Now, this week of Michaelmas, we ask that this warmth and light be first carried down into the body so our fiery will may steel the sword of the spirit. In this way, we seek to birth a new self-awareness of our spiritual nature. Only then can we stream these forces out into the world around us.
Practice the Calendar verses to entrain with the rhythms of the seasons. Together, we will radiate these forces out into society through our moral words and deeds of brotherly love.
