Winter's Hope
Last week, through the power of the will, we realized we can be revitalized through the "solar power" of the soul filled with the warmth of the past summer sun. Our faith in past forces of nature are carried forward through the warmth of the heart's love, giving us hope for the future. This is our "summer's inheritance" in which we lay our summer, outdoor activities to rest in autumn that we might turn inward and awaken spiritually this winter.
Practice the Calendar verses to entrain with the rhythms of the seasons. Together, we will radiate these forces out into society through our moral words and deeds of brotherly love. Rudolf Steiner's verses for the 52 weeks of the calendar are here on our website, together with Rudolf Steiner's original German text and several other translations: Rudolf Steiner, The Anthroposophical Calendar.
